June 28th marks our second year of being with you as your Pastor. We would like to take time to look at the goals and visions that we set forth twelve months ago and see what has been successful and what has not. The goals that we set forth last June that have been successful are: Implement a drama team, Implement an Outreach ministry, Further grow the Music Ministry and further grow the Kid’s Ministry. All of these goals have been met. One goal that has been partially successful is the Music Makeover and the one goal that has not yet been successful is the implementing of a prayer ministry.
I feel that after two years we have came along way as a church and that we are continuing to move forward to the things that God has promised us. In my opinion, we are growing at a steady basis and I feel that we are right on track in terms of growing into a strong church physically and spiritually that in due season will be a leader in the Wayne area as well as in West Virginia.
The goals and visions that we would like to cast for the next twelve months are: Implement a Prayer Ministry, Expand our Outreach Ministry, Implement a CARE Ministry, further grow our Music Ministry, further grow our Kid’s Ministry with a goal of reaching 100 Kids and to host a city-wide Halloween alternative.
Our overall church vision remains the same, “To be a soul-winning, fruitful church with our hearts and hands extended to our community”. Please join us in prayer that we will reach our goals and visions in these next twelve months. Help us continue forward in unity by working together and spreading the good news about what is going on in our church. I challenge you as your Pastor to call at least one person each week spreading the good news and inviting people to come check it out.
We are in need of help establishing some of these new goals. If you do not already have a job in the church and would like to help with one of these ministries or new ministry ideas, please let us know!!! We would love to have some additional help.
